Ancillary texts research

As well as my music video for my creative project I also need to create to additional ancillary texts alongside it, to be finished by the 8th of February (maximum!). these two texts are:

• A cover for its release as part of a Digipak (CD/DVD/Vinyl package)
• A magazine advertisement for the Digipak (DC/DVD/Vinyl package)

My original idea was to do a simple 6 sided digipak including a CD but now because of the growing come back of Vinyl in the music industry I am going to create a Vinyl gatefold for my album release.

It would be in this style:

This would be the complete outline, with an album design image on the front and back (which will include all the necessary writing, copyright issues, production price) and the inside would include more artwork and photography. As the album is instrumental it would not have lyrics on despite this perhaps being a convention.

This is a 3D view of the inside of the gatefold and how the sleeves on either side would open up, on the right hand side the LP would come out and then a cut out on the left hand side which would be a poster that would only be available with this album's purchase.
